I am looking for inexpensive ways (ultimately) to make large (20" +) Pyrex
glass blanks.  I have been entertaining the thought of learning how to kiln
my own glass blanks.  Furthermore, I would like to keep the same strength as
the proper 6 to 1 ratio by melting Pyrex around hollow ceramic fillers.  I
had witnessed this accomplishment by a professor in California who was
gracious enough to share his achievement with me.
Has anyone fabricated his or her own glass on this list?
