[ATM] Re: ATM Digest, Vol 8, Issue 10

I've been using Mailwasher since it's inception some years ago.
They are in New Zealand where astronomers get to play 23 hours a
day (?) I know Nick Bolton and many of the programmers at
FireTrust. They are as creative, dedicated and hardworking a
bunch as I've ever met and their software has saved me hours of
effort.

I have a web site and with my aircraft components sales I'm into
at least a dozen sport aviation chat rooms. With six different e-
mail addresses (some at juno) and the the website, the posts (100
per day), the spam and viruses I see attempted in 24 hours would
flood a basement.

With Mailwasher Pro they never get past the ISP to my system.
Mailwasher tags them at the ISP and flags the post for deletion
without any effort. My ISP loves that! I am limited to a modem
and do not have the luxury of speed so I can ill afford to be
downloading all that garbage. I have Norton AV too and update my
AV list nightly. Norton has only tagged a virus once in the last
two years and that was my fault.

Since I started using MW, I've cut hours per day from my e-mail
regimen. Bob May's suggestion is worth noting. firetrust.com will
send you a free download to try it out.
