[ATM] Jean Texerau?

As I parabolize my 10-inch mirror, I am living with my
dog-eared copy of Jean Texerau's classic on telescope
making. I also had the opportunity to visit Muedon
Observatory near Paris earlier this year, where M.
Texerau worked for part of his career. Which got me to
thinking, does anyone know anything about his later
years? Is he still living? Every time I grind a
mirror, I find myself going back to his clear logic
and wisdom. Sorry if this is too far off topic, feel
