Many ways to figure a mirror. Star laps help with fast/deep/highly aspheric
mirrors. While I've done a tiny bit of work with star laps (figured a six
inch f/3.75 hyperbola)...I prefer sub diameter laps if at all possible.

For your size and f/ratio mirror...you probably don't need a star lap.
