[ATM] slotting


    You can use a Dremmel,or a lathe.Even if it is worn,a block of metal 
with a shallow groove in the face,and some set screws.This is held on the 
toolpost,while a cutter in the chuck does the slotting. It's a matter of 
weather you want something down and dirty or make a rig that teaches you 
something and does a much better job at the same time.
