[ATM] Scratches

Help.

Since I have started parabolizing I have inadvertently scratched my mirror
in several places. I don't feel too good about this.
Is there anything that can be done on the pitch lap to minimize them?

Or is going all the way back to fine grinding the only way out of this
woods?  I really don't have the energy for that.

I have done my best to clean the lap.  I used a clean soft tooth brush on
the surface and lots of distilled water.  I can't guess where the abrasive
villain came from. So I'll continue on.  Ugh.  I have increased admiration
for mirrors with no surface imperfections!
