If no one else can point to a known ATM source in Sydney or there abouts
check the business directory pages for industrial abrasives and call
around. And tell them what you need it to hand grind a telescope
mirror. That alone generally peeks some interest in helping you out.
They may not be used to dealing with walk up sales or smaller
quantities. There may charge packaging fees for smaller quantities so
I bought quantities to do several mirrors but I think I saved in the
long run. If I recall correctly I quickly found a company that had
every grit I needed and only had to special order the pitch. This in a
Midwest USA city 1/4 the size of Sydney.
