That you were having problems with the KE part indicates that you are having
more problems than with the test.  The Foucault test has been the standard
test for doing mirrors for some time amongst the amateur community.  The
parameters for it are well known by all.
I'll note that the Mobsby test doesn't need to have a light source any
brighter than the Ronchi or Foucault tests do so the high brightness light
that you made up is way overkill unless you desire to do the test in the
sunlight.  The Mobsby test is merely a variation of the Ronchi test where
the lines re precisely precurved to compensate for the curvature that gets
put into the Ronchi test by the change of ROC of the mirror and turn those
lines into straight lines in the eye's image when the light from the pinhole
arrives at the grating.
