[ATM] Dust Issue

  In the prescription:

the focus for the 27.5 degree zone is better at about
1.3 mm short of where the focal plane is currently set.
However, this is pretty much coincident with the
intersection of that new plane and the last lens
surface.

Would this have a tendency to pull the user's attention
to that focal plane, focussing, perhaps, on any minor
dust or imperfections that may be on that last surface,
or would the center image be enough to keep the user on
track?
