I made a 8" f/4.7 that was solely tested by Robo1.  The closest it came to 
a star test during grinding/polishing/figuring was to get the focuser 
position.  The stars are points, except for some coma near the edge. 
Basically, the optics hold up very well visually against other scopes of a 
similar size (it has been to the Orange Blossom Special, Mid-Florida 
Stargaze and Chiefland).    It isn't perfect by any means (1/6th wave), 
and robo told me that.  The point of this is that visually, even if robo 
is off, no one that I have found has been able to tell through the 
eyepiece.    In other words, a robo only tested mirror is a beautiful 
thing.
