Re: ATM Adhesion of Flocked Paper

if you really want it to stick treat the surface before applying the paper
with 3m77 or equivalent. it only needs about 10 minutes to dry. just use a
light mist. weldwood contact cement works as well and can be painted on
rather than sprayed which may work better in a confined area. you can also
spray the 3m in a little puddle on a piece of plastic and paint it on as
well.

take care

Subject: ATM Adhesion of Flocked Paper

Hi,

I just applied flocked paper to my secondary cage and the adhesive does not
seem to stick very well to the painted surface. The edges of the paper are
lifting and some sections are delaminating in the form of a bubble shape in
some inner sections. I assume the paper has a pressure adhesive but I'd like
to know if a little heat from a hair dryer may help?

Any other ideas?

Other than the adhesion problem the stuff is amazingly black!

Thanks,

Peter
