Kurt,

Are you writing that there are people who don't do calculus?  Next thing
you'll be writing me that there are those who can't add 15 and 4 (give me a
break, it was a Friday and it was late.)  I actually do plan to try to
remove the calculus bit.  And, devise a interative algorithm for the
generized involute.  Of course, given Jim's Sixtest, this is just
re-inventing the wheel.  Which I suppose is kind of like making telescopes.

Also, I'm so glad you used MathCAD.  I have a bad taste in my mouth from
Wolfram and mathamatica-n't.  Twice now I've purchased older versions of
their product because it supposedly could run on old hardware.  Both times
Wolfram outright refused to issue me a seat.  After that, they just ignored
my emails.  Their product might work, I don't know.  What I do know is the
customer service of that money grubbing student unfriendly company is a
disgrace.  And let me add, Mathsoft, the makers of MathCAD are friendly,
responsive, and eager help teachers, and students who can't afford pentium
(what ever number it's up to now)s and sparc stations.

OK, end of rant and I'm sorry for being OT.
