ATM asteroid
A friend sent this to me - thought I would forward it on to you all...

Reminder: Near-Earth asteroid this Saturday night / early-Sunday morning
Here's a map labeled with where you can find the asteroid at what times
(EST):

I'm reading it should take 4-minutes to cross an area the diameter of
the moon. Supposedly though we'll only be able to see a dot of light
through the telescope when viewing it then it will eventually fade and
disappear after it passes Earth. It will pass Earth just outside the
distance of the moon (an extra 1/3rd of the distance from here to the
moon). It should be easy to spot passing the star Vega towards the
constellation Hercules.
