The first problem is whether there is a Video for Windows driver for the
camera.  If not, then you have problems with the robotic Foucault test that
is being developed.  If you're doing another system, then never mind about
the above.
I've heard of the camera (another little CCD camera that was done years ago)
but am not familiar with the the details of it.
Often with stuff like this, it is usually better to use something else as
the problems dealing with software that just does the one function (image
display and basic camera control in this case) usually isn't susceptible to
further stuff like fancy processing on the image to find the things that are
needed for showing where the shadows are.
