Subject: Re: ATM bulls eye on faucault test
This bullseye feature is as much a feature of inappropriate polishing
technique as it is poor materials used in the last few steps including both
grinding and polishing.
The 'Scripture according to Texereau most certainly wasnt read by the Guy
who helped me so much become a Master Optician, Franz Liebert, of Zeiss. I
don't believe that the managment of Zeiss let such a primitive manual be
read there. Believe it or not, Tex is not the be all and end all of this tm
stuff.
