The lesson here is ti not be pressured by unknowledgeble bureaucrats into
anything including hasty allembly of your test equipment and letting those
sane damn bureaucrats decide which set of data to use for final asseptance
especially when the Ross null and knife edge readings agreed exactly and it
was the supergiant whizzbang null lens that disagreed. One of my business
partners at Hextek was on the president's scientific advisory comittee that
found outthese things. Null lenses are a great thing.
