yes. I went to my local home depot and purchased a 1 1/4" coupling tread
(male) to electrical pvc. along with that, I also bought its female mate.
these two go together nicely. I get about 1 1/4" travel painted black, looks
great. I am going to have some photos of the 8" f/6 truss scope I am
building (first project) sometime soon. the parts cost a total of $2.93.
