Peter,

Please pass on to Doug my compliments on a job well done.  He solved
many problems that I have continued to try to solve my own way.
Interesting that he now knows that a higher CoG will be very helpful.
The hex pupil to the mirror box that accepts the hex secondary shroud
will definitely appear on  one of my scopes soon.

Suggest to him that a 1000mm f/10 Mak Camera lens or a C-90  would make a
nice addition on the
mirror box and would allow him to move the finder up where it belongs.
In addition if he installs perpendicular pieces of Teflon on the inside of
the Alt bearing holders
that contact the inside of the Alt bearing itself they can be adjusted to be
"mini brakes" when the
scope is at low altitudes.
