I am about in the same status as you are. That is, the delay is quite
longer
than announced. However I did explicitely say that I was not hurried
to receive my mirror blank and it still is the case. So this is no
complain.

For his defense, I should say the Mr Taillon apparently had a problem
related to his lab, or whatever the place where the mirrors are made
is called, in June. According to him this is cleared now, and my BVC
blank would be sheduled for shipment in September.

So logically one can hope that you will receive your blank by then...
