Re: ATM Buying New/Used Eyepieces




My concern in this case would be making sure I received the eyepiece I
ordered (from an unrecommended web site, that is), not whether it was an
outstanding design. In optics, you generally get what you pay for.
Manufacturers change their specifications, and farm out the work to
different makers in different countries all the time. Meade is only one
among these. Older designs are often touted as better, but this is not
necessarily true. Talk to other observers and decide, perhaps.
