Yes, construction of my focuser is based on camera-lens manual focusing
mechanism.
If you put your camera on the desk, you can turn focusing ring and
camera-body travels up and down without turning itself. This is unavailable
with many modern autofocus lens.

Did I read ou well: an helical focuser without eyepiece/camera rotation?
In reality I heard already about this kind of focuser. How is it done?
I wonder if I would not buy one of these from you.
