I for got to mention we made an 18" gear that drove a 29" scope. It had a full sonotube on a steel fork mount. Used a DC drive with a feedback speed control made by another one of our members. We had less than $100 in the gear, moterdrive and electronics. Had a machinist to true the disk and make the clutch unit with a six inch center hole for the shaft. Tommy
