Re: ATM Work Table for grinding

WATCH THAT SINK!!!! is a gross understatement. The sink is a trap waiting
to WRECK your mirror!!! If your mirror is wet and slips from your hand
and drops as little as six inches into the sink, it will chip! If the sink
is filled with water and you drop a mirror into it, you will realize too
late that your grinding tool was lurking below the surface under direct
orders from satan to try to strike your mirror. Also, the faucets and the
spout are hard metal objects endowed with artificial intelligence and
eagerly seeking mirrors to bang against and chip.

As stated below, if you deprive the sink of the satisfaction of wrecking
your mirror, it is likely to go on strike, intentionally plugging itself
with grit, dental stone, and other materials used in mirror grinding.

Suggestion: buy a bucket and use it. Neither workpiece goes in the bucket
unless the other is visible.

Suggestion: the EDGE of your mirror is the most sensitive and delicate part.
Guard it carefully against contact with ANYTHING. For example, when
putting the mirror on the tool, first contact the center of the mirror to
the edge of the tool, then rock it into position.

When we get together for that pizza and beer, I'll explain more.
