Re: ATM west USA trip

Places to visit in California:

Chabot Science Center, Oakland, any Friday night
Mt. Piņos summit, any Friday or Saturday night
Mt. Wilson, any week day during the day.
Page museum, next to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (elephant bones,
etc.)
JPL Library, any week day during the day
Marineland, San Diego
Santa Cruz: there is a fine Italian restaurant at the end of the pier, but
be careful-- many of the natives have nose rings and pierced tongues.
Castroville: eat at the Central Texan BBQ. Get the long beef ribs with
sauce on the side.
Burney Falls (bring a fishing pole!)

Places to avoid:

Yosemite
San Francisco
Disneyland
Hollywood (Ho-Town)
Universal Studios
