Mike,
Too thin to make a mirror, both because it
will sag too much at that thickness/diameter ratio, and because you'll make
a hole in the middle grinding it. Is it free from inclusions? If so, it might
make a dandy optical window or perhaps even a Schmidt corrector plate, but
probably even that only if you grind it down to
18" or so...
