If you're talking about a series of annular baffles running down the tube,
I think you'll find that this approach amounts to a lot of effort for very
little return.  Have a look at my article in the April 2001 issue of Sky &
Telescope ("Newtonian Baffling Made Easy," page 128).  If you follow the
steps outlined there, you will have a scope that is thoroughly baffled.
