Re: ATM Star Diagonals
Since no one has replied publicly, I can only relate my experiance. which is
with a Mirror.
I used a 1.22" secondary mirror for my Tertiary mirror in my bino-scope.
The tertiary mirror is in all sense just a star diagonal, and seems to work
well. My choice for a mirror was based solely on expense. A mirror was
much cheaper than a Prism.
I do wonder if a prism would have offered any benefit over a mirror, but not
enough to purchase a prism and find out first hand :)
