I'm going to assume that the Upper Cage will have some type of Clamp.
OK given that (or is it a given - if not there will be another problem), the
only issue I see is that you need a tight Aluminum to Carbon Fiber Tube fit
to assure the Scope remains aligned, and there would be a chance for the
Aluminum to contract enough on cold nights removing the Carbon Tubes might
be a problem.
