Ditto there although I use a different freeware screen grabber.
The secret here is to capture just the graphics and let something else
handle the text so you can get smaller files.  I might also note that JPG,
being a lossy format, will make text unreadable before it does any really
apparent damage to pretty pictures.  This is because the text is has a very
high spatial frequency domain and that's the first thing that JPG gets rid
of.
