RE: ATM Re: FOCAL PLANE FOUND - THANKS





        Thanks for the advice.  Its good to know that what seems true
intuitively is true in practice as well!  The focuser I have now is
home-made, though not as elaborate as yours.  Its just a cardboard tube with
a chrome drain pipe inserted that moves up and down.  I have a longer piece
of drain pipe left over, so I can use that if I have to.   Thanks again,
