Hello, Jan:  I somehow visualise three wood right triangles, 3\4" thick...
perhaps 15" tall, and mounted on a wood base at 120* from each other, and
90* to the base, and on which the cell would be placed so it is level, and
supported in three places from tipping.....  the triangles would keep the
cell from moving sideways; they would also be notched to do the above, and
yet be of the proper I.D. to match your mirror,  allowing you to keep it
centered as you lower it. Sound feasable?  I haven't even drawn any
sketches, yet.... which actually wouldn't do much good since I have NO IDEA
of what you have as far as cell, etc.     JW
