Re: ATM 21" f/6 - Rough Grinding





My 20" weighs 50 lbs.  A 22 might even weigh more... I think most people
grind TOT when there's no machine convenient for this sized mirror.

No, no, no.  To hog the mirror, keep the mirror on top and use tangential
strokes, in other words, get the center of the mirror as close to the edge
of
the tool as possible without falling off the edge.  After 20 wets of this
do
10 wets of CoC and estimate the sagitta.  Repeat as required.
