yes it can! against all advise you will get. Try!
The use of foucault is not easy to learn, because you will have to
translate what you see. for instance: when you see the mirror in the
right position of knifeedge even flatt, than it is not flat, it is a
sphere. Just there it is better to know what you should see. (you could
look in a book and watch the pictures there) I have a little programm in
my webside named foucaultsimulator, so you can simulate the pattern you
expect.
