I know little of the particulars, but an intern at work is finishing
work on a satellite for a Junior/Senior project she's in on. (The
launch window is very soon now, so she's been scarce at work.)

If my recollection holds, 1) the booster is an expendable one,
1a) not necessarily NASA, could be one of the private outfits,
and 2) an OSCAR is also hitchhiking.

Among others, Motorola was buying a lot of launches for their
Iridium group. I also recall Lockheed-Martin doing some launches out
of Vandenberg (used for polar launches) on a Titan II.

I'm going to be off work the next day our intern is due in, but I'll
try to get an inquiry to her.
