Re: ATM tile tool questions

I'm not sure why I'm even bringing this up, as I agree with Stephen
completely. But, for some time now Mark T. has been making tools at Chabot
varing in size from 6" to 12.5" Until he purchased a tile nipper for the
mirror making workshop he would just tear out the tile that would have hung
over the edge. This left four, large, tile free voids around the tool. I
believed that this was an aweful thing to do, and that everything would be
all ruined. OK, I was wrong. I've even used one of these tools (an 8") and
it worked fine.
Incidently, Mark is making the substraits with either stucko-patch or
pour-stone or both mixed together. Depending on what's left and laying
around. If anyone uses Chabot or is just in the bay area and wants to
donate left overs of either, please feel free to bring it by. Also, Mark
is now using 4to1 epoxy from TAP Plastics to adhear the tile and seal the
tool. Its much less smelly.
