No, I can't get free samples.....
HP has an arragnement with Newark Electronics to do small sample buys.
Oops, the HLMP-CE23 isn't in that program. You'd either have to
try Newark directly ($25 dollar order, or a $5 surcharge if you
don't make it), or one of the other distributers. Arrow, Avnet, Future,
etc.
Go the www.hp.com website and follow the links to the components stuff.
Either enter the numbers I gave or go with the parameters and you'll
see a datasheet. There's a button on there somewhere for the sample
purchase arrangement. BTW, Newark might have a minimum purchase.
P.S. Dwight, the Vf at 20mA is 3.5V. I think the 6V stuff is silicon
carbide, but this is a different material.
