ATM Collimating problems- URGENT!

Hi ya' all,

I need your help to solve a few problems.

The first one is, since my design in an Alice design,
I had a very hard time to find a way for holding the
Truss tubes. I NEVER understood Ron Ravenbergs way.
Does anyone have a quick way & solution for this
problem?

Second of all, when I tried collimating the scope, I
just couldn't find the right positioning for the
diagonal, and actually I was very far of good
collimation. When I looked at the diagonal, it wasn't
perfectly a cicrle. The problem of the collimation is
because of a few things. First of all, the Truss
tubes. since I couldn't finf a way to hold them in
place, and that they'll be still, then all of the
collimation just COULDN'T be accurate. So, that's one
problem I need to solve. The other thing that doesn't
let me do any collimation is the diagonal stalk. It's
a single-stalk, and the diagonal was stuck perfectly
on to it. There's no way I coul'd "Unglue" the
diagonal. Well, when I look at the diagonal, it's not
perfectly round.

When I connected all of the scope, and I put in the
eyepiece, I saw the diagonal stalk and the diagonal
through the eyepiece when I was standing in a distance
from the eyepiece. Is this "healthy"?

Thanks, Asaf.
