ATM CHARON is finnaly finished!

Dear ALL,

Yes, I now. It took a long time. Yes, I know, I was a
nudge.

But here it comes, CHARON, a 6" f/8 Newtonian,
Alice-like Design, created By Asaf Shtull-Trauring, in
Israel, in 1999!

In these dramatic minutes, the glue is drying on the
focuser board of my Telescope, named CHARON. When the
glue will be dry, I will attach the diagonal mirror,
and collimate the scope. Then, after the scope will be
ready for it's destiny, I shal take out the scope to
the ligt-polluted skies, and declare... First Light!

Now, you must know, the scope that I have just
finished, which answered to the name "CHARON", will
not be perfect. No, it won't. It won't be close at all
to being perfect. But it WILL fill it's duty, where
most of it CHARON already did. Because of CHARON I
have learnt the arts of ATMing. I am amaised how much
I have learnt from this Telescope. The only thing that
is missing now, is making my first mirror. That will
take place in about 3 monthes.

So, Ladys & Gentelmen, I owe you something. I owe you
the biggest thank. EVERY SINGLE ONE! Hundreds of
people have answered my calls for help (don't believe
me? Check the archives.. my name is quite popular
there... hehehe). So, this is the internet, so I can't
hug you guys... So I'll only thank you.. again & again
& again!
