The "best" that I have found is called "Hydrostone" , it is suposed to be the hardest plaster of paris when dry. It is also waterproof. The last bag I bought was 100# for about $13 US. I did apply a coating of varnish to futher protect it. Should ba avaible at builders supply stores.
