If I print it, I get a life-sized plan of the mount. I put a 1 Inch by 1 Inch square of equal signs as a scale for you all.
I really don't think I'll have to worry about flexing with this mount.
1) The shaft is huge.
2) The 3/8 Inch plate could be replaced with thicker plate, but I don't think it will be necessary.
3) Going to steel would make the mount too heavy.
Each shaft has a 1.5 Inch thick by 4 Inch diameter collar on it that is bolted with four bolts (2 are shown) to the plate.
Several shaft collars are not shown.
I'll do some bending simulations this week while I'm on vacation, and let you know.
