Just means you have some turned down edge. The truth is that many mirrors do - just mask off the outer 1/8" or so. You might want to re-test on a couple of nights under steady temperature just to be sure that the radiating spikes inside focus (indicating the edge zone is focusing long) are a permanent feature of the image.
