You bet!

I don't remember who it was, but whoever suggested hockey puck for dob feet is a genius. I spent hours walking the hardware store isles and trying all sorts for odds and ends... which all gave me a wobbly base. Not bad when the scope was horizontal up to about 50 degrees, but from there to 90 degrees, the whole thing (10" scope) seemed to "rock" and was very sensative to the slightest touch. I put on 4 hocket pucks, six dollars total, and the scope is solid as a rock and ready for the Stanley Cup.

Thanks to the unknown expert!

Mark

PS: How about a topic of putting crosshairs on a homebuilt 8X50 finder scope? What a pain in the.... any suggestions?
