regrinding a 13" f6.6 to f5.5-5.0

A question for the experts. I have a 13" f6.6 that I made several years ago
that I am going to regrind to f5 or f5.5. I calculate the curve depth change
to be a little over 1/100" (I don't have my figures right with me for the exact
number). I think I can start the grind at 120 or 180 grit. Am I correct?
