Check with a full service camera/photography store for replacement foam for Pelican cases, or equivalent. (I have the address at home for direct order.) A lot of foams will leave a haze on surfaces and optics. Whether it causes real damage or not I don't know, but getting the haze off sure leads to the possibilities, rubbing, scrubbing, and washing <g> even when is done right.
