My copy of "Telescope Optics" (Rutten & Venrooij) had all the mentioned
errors fixed (formula for paraxial radius of a corrector plate, and
subsequent values given in tables for Wright and Schmidt-Newtonian, and
exact formuale for deformation coefficients for Schmidt corrector
plate).
I'm not sure if that was second edition or what ... ?
Of course, no book is perfect (and there are ceratinly few places where
I have different opinion, especially in obstruction/MTF discussion),
but IMHO Rutten & Venrooij did absolutely great job (especially section
on eyepieces - I haven't seen something like that ANYWHERE). Few errors
are really minor (and probably already fixed). I still think it
warrants "must have" attribute.
