I've also had problems with canned air. It seems to be full of
impurities which imbed (sp?) onto the silver coating. I have a
feeling that the propellent is to blame. In my case, because the
blueing wasn't so bad, I've left it. But I'd be very interested to
know of your result after cleaning.
