My review, like any "review" of a book, was not a comprehensive evaluation of each equation and specification. Neither was Gee's. I caught some he found and vice/versa. My review appeared in the Ass'n of Lunar & Planetary Observers Journal about four years ago, maybe longer. I will try and get a reference.

One error Gee caught was the formulae for schmidt correctors is in error by a factor of 8 as I recall. Most of the errors I caught were either type-o's, graphics not matching captions, and in a couple of cases, undefined variables in equations. An experienced a.t.m. would know what was needed and where to find it, but not the tyro.

Again, this is not to denegrate the book. I agree with you, it is a great book and I have it on my shelf and use it. I hope the small problems will be corrected in subsequent versions.

I have neither the book nor the reviews here with me, but I will try to look them up in a day or two. (The weather is really great just now with night seeing <1" so I spend most of my "off" time observing in my own observatory!)
