Bob:Be very careful with the canned air. I use a reagent grade air but, keep
in mind it is very cold from the expansion. Hold it back from the mirror
some distance. I first rinse with tap water and then using cotton balls, very
soapy form mild dish detergent, then rinse thoroughly. Then I use the canned
air,at a distance to blow off the droplets. I had a bluish spot the first
time I did a mirror also but, using the above procedure it came off.
Fortunately the mirror I was doing was a company mirror and not my telescope
so I learned the easy way.
