The CeO and water mix act very nicely as a release agent when you
do a warm press. I'd not use wax paper as I can't guarantee the
thickness of that stuff to anywhere near what is required for a
good fit between the lap and the glass.
Just put a good layer of water and thin CeO down, put the netting
down, slather the lap with a bit more CeO just for good measure
if desired and then press together. Pull apart on occasion with
the netting going with the lap (just so it doesn't want to really
make a new set of peaks) and check for the depression of the
netting into the lap. Finish up with a few minutes of just the
lap on the glass to make sure that all of the little microfacets
are contacting the glass and start to work.
