Re: [ATM] schmidt corrector

In addition to the acuum, the glass is limited to a particular
curvature with a plaster mold to hold it in placce. Thu7s, there
is no need ot control the vacuum to any particular level as long
as the glass is pulled tight against the plaster. The only
problem iwth this ariation on the vacuum method is that the mold
does need to be kept very clean or the glass will be locally
stressed and not produce the correct shape when it is polished
out. It does definitely have the advantage when the usual
hamfisted idiots work the glass tho.
